How many sessions should you expect?
On average, you should expect between 6 and 10 sessions to achieve lasting hair removal. However, there are some exceptions to be aware of:

About 5% of individuals exhibit a natural resistance to the laser, which we can unfortunately only identify after the sessions have been completed.
The laser is ineffective on light blonde, red, or white hairs, as it targets the melanin (dark pigment) contained in the hair.

At what age should treatment begin?
For young girls, it is advisable to wait until the age of 18 to 20, a period when hormonal balance begins to stabilise. Before this age, the treatment may be less effective, requiring more sessions.

For boys, caution is essential: their hormonal system can continue to evolve until the age of 30, making laser hair removal less enduring before this age.

Focus on downy hair: absolute caution!
Downy hair requires a very specific approach. It should never be shaved: this risks transforming those fine and discreet hairs into thick, dark ones that are more difficult to treat. To diminish visible down, we use a specific laser, the Revlite, which makes the hairs nearly transparent for 2 to 3 months, without paradoxical stimulation.

And if the laser is not suitable? Electric hair removal, our precision solution
When laser is not an option — particularly for white, blonde, or red hairs, or for treating very localized areas such as the chin or areolas — we offer electric hair removal, also known as electrolysis. This technique involves destroying each hair follicle one by one, using a very low-intensity electric current. Performed by a doctor trained in this method, it is ideal for small areas or stubborn hairs. Electric hair removal is permanent, with no risk of paradoxical regrowth, and remains the most reliable method today for treating all types of hair, regardless of their colour or nature.
