There is much to say about this area, which often gives rise to the unflattering remark “you look tired!!!”

One indication - one technique:

Dark circles hollow: filling with hyaluronic acid

Drooping upper eyelids: reduction using the Plexr technique (plasma excision)

Pigmented dark circles: use of poly nucleotides, but be aware that results can be inconsistent

Swollen dark circles or "bags": lymphatic drainage using lift massage technique 

Can all dark circles be filled with hyaluronic acid ?

Very few doctors master treatments for dark circles, so I recommend you do thorough research before choosing your physician.

Indeed, it is not advisable to treat all dark circles.

If there is a bag, the treatment will be surgical.

If it is more of a hollow, then I can intervene to fill it with hyaluronic acid.

A doctor injected me and I have small vesicles on my lower eyelids ;(

This is normal; hyaluronic acid must be injected deep into the bone contact. The solution may be massage and patience, or the injection of hyaluronidase.

After my injection, there is still a hollow, is that normal ?

It is not unusual to need a touch-up on a dark circle treatment. However, you must wait at least 3 weeks before intervening again, as the product will inevitably settle in and gain volume. If we perform a touch-up too early, the risk is to create a bag.

Listen to your doctor when they advise you to wait a bit before making a touch-up.

I woke up with oedemas.

The dark circle area is rich in lymphatic and blood vessels. I always warn patients about the risk of waking up with an oedema that can last from 2 to 5 days. Call us, and we will recommend homeopathic products to aid in the resorption of products. 

Is this procedure dangerous ?

Absolutely not. However, this treatment should only be performed by an expert.

Don’t worry if your dark circles are swollen the next day. This is an area that easily develops oedemas.

Can the PLEXR replace surgery ?

The Plexr is a very interesting technique as it allows one to avoid surgery, but it is not for everyone. You will see my eyes during the consultation, and I am not a good candidate for the Plexr. For me, surgery is essential.

For eyes that are not greatly marked, Plexr will be perfect, and the number of sessions will depend on the amount of skin to be reduced.

My girlfriend had one session and I needed four, how can this be explained? 

First of all, each person has their own ability to retract. It is impossible to predict how the eyelid will react after a Plexr procedure. In fact, this technique often yields delightful surprises.

I'm tired of my coloured dark circles, what should I do? 

The issue of coloured and pigmented dark circles is a significant one. In 90% of cases, this pigmentation is hereditary. Thus, there is a management plan available to try and improve it, but without any guarantees.

Polydeoxyribonucleotide injections.

Is it effective? 

It’s either a success or a failure. Unfortunately, this treatment results in either a wonderful outcome or a moderate one. However, it is impossible to know beforehand. You see, I’m telling you the truth, I am not a dream seller.

What can I do about my bags? 

There are two possibilities: either they are due to a lymphatic drainage deficiency, in which case we will work on drainage using the LPG facial machine.

This requires an initial treatment course followed by maintenance sessions. However, if the bags are permanent and caused by fat deposits under the skin, then surgical intervention should be considered.
